There’s something exciting happening soon… Joni Mar and I are hosting the Co-Active New Year’s Evolution! Click here to see all the details.
What’s that? you might ask. It’s an evening of interactive exploration of the difference between simply formulating action plans and discovering what’s possible when you consider first who you need to BE to change your life.
Often we think, ‘It’s a New Year! This is a clean slate, now my life will start if I can get this right! So, I better make a resolution and do it right!’. However, the reason even well-intentioned resolutions often quickly fail, is because we don’t ground them well. If who we are is not shifting to support the resolution, then nothing changes.
Here are all the details you’ll need:
Date: January 15, 2014
Time: 6:30pm – 9:30pm
Place: Renaissance Vancouver Hotel Harbourside, 1133 West Hastings Street
Cost: $40 (which includes the option to bring a friend new to CTI for free)
Register: http://bit.ly/nyeVAN
You will:
- Learn new distinctions between BEING and DOING
- Identify the 3 qualities you need to hold and grow in 2014 to realise your desired outcome
- Explore who do I want to be, and who do I need to be now, to make that thing I want happen
- Create accountability structures
The power of Co-Active Coaching lies in its potential to lift everyday conversations from the trivial to the transformative. If you are hungry for conversations that are worth having, in service of EVOLUTION, rather than just more resolutions, then bring your friends, colleagues and significant others.
I hope to see you there!
Light bulb! That makes so much sense. I’m really resonating with the context of who do I need to be to move forward? What’s holding me back? How am I holding myself back?
Thank you Signy! Not likely I’ll get to the presentation in Vancouver…but if you do a road show, make Calgary one of your stops!
Happy New Year’s Evolution!
Armando
On the topic of Being, I just read the intro to The Book of Knowing and Worth, a channeled message by Paul Selig. It’s the 3rd in a series of channeled books by Paul, an NYU and college prof. The main message comes in the form of a mantra:
“I know who I am. I know what I am. I know how I serve”.
That grabbed my attention. Then the message, we are the Christ manifested and expressed in human form…is totally resonating inside. And I am totally responsible for deciding to Be that, or not. The “Christ”, the Light, divine expression of Source, how ever we resonate with the message. The interpretation doesn’t matter….it’s the feeling I get with choosing to know I am That.
Wow. Grateful to share here. Love…
